Gene Verble (Gene Kermit Verble) was born on June 29, 1928 in Concord, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1951 for the Washington Senators. In 1951, his rookie year, he hit .203 with 0 home runs and 15 RBI. Verble played for the Washington Senators for his entire 2 year career.
