Gene Hubka (Eugene Lewis Hubka) was born on May 18, 1924 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Hubka attended Bucknell University and Temple University. Hubka made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
