Gary Wood (Gary F. Wood) was born on February 5, 1942 in Taylor, New York. After going to high school at Cortland (NY), Wood attended Cornell University. Wood made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1964 was Gary Wood's best year.
