Gary Hoffman (Gary E. Hoffman) was born on September 28, 1961 in Sacramento, California. After going to high school at Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA), Hoffman attended Santa Clara University. Hoffman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 2 year career.
