Gary Gaetti (Gary Joseph Gaetti) was born on August 19, 1958 in Centralia, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 20, 1981 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1982, his rookie year, he hit .230 with 25 home runs and 84 RBI. Gaetti played for the Minnesota Twins, California Angels, Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 20 year career.

Most people believe that Gary Gaetti's best season was 1986, when he slugged 34 home runs, hit for a .287 average and knocked in 108 runs.
