Fritz Maisel (Frederick Charles Maisel) was born on December 23, 1889 in Catonsville, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on August 11, 1913 for the New York Yankees. In 1913, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Maisel played for the New York Yankees and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Fritz Maisel's best season was 1914, when he stole 74 bases.
