| The NFL Network
|
| Hello, does anybody get the NFL Network? I do not expect many people to say yes as the answer. My answer is no. And yet, there are NFL games on a station that few get.
This week, the NFL Network carried the Atlanta Falcons versus the Indianapolis Colts matchup. This was not that good of a matchup, yet, it would have been nice to have been able to see it.
The NFL is the greatest sports league in America currently. This, however, will not last if greed creates stupidity. Putting games on your own Network, and fighting a war with cable companies that prevent the average Joe from getting the station is stupid. For this, the NFL Network gets a Friday Fryer nomination.

| Arizona State Sun Devils
|
| The Sun Devils entered this week as the Pac-10 conference football leader. If the Sun Devils beat the USC Trojans, then the Sun Devils would be at least playing in a BCS Bowl game. It is even possible that the Sun Devils could find itself playing for the national championship, if they would get some help.
Well, you can forget all of that. The Sun Devils were beaten badly by the Trojans on Thanksgiving. What makes this thing all the worse is the fact that this was a home game for the Sun Devils. Oh yeah, USC is also having a down year. Yet, the Sun Devils were whipped by the Trojans.
So now the Sun Devils have lost pretty much everything. A berth in the Rose Bowl is a long shot at best. The national championship dream is completely dead. But, as consolation, the Sun Devils did earn a Friday Fryer nomination.

| LSU Tigers
|
| At Arkansas, there is a Nutt at head coach, and there is a Dick playing quarterback. Those last names may make for a funny intro sentence, yet for LSU Tigers fans, those names have crushed their championship dreams. Yes, my friends, the LSU Tigers were beaten at home today by Arkansas.
Can you believe it? LSU was all set to play for the national championship. Now, after a triple overtime loss, they will not be playing for it. LSU will still be in a BCS Bowl, but who really cares.
Speaking f the BCS, this year is truly making a mockery of it. If Kansas losses tomorrow or in the Big 12 Championship, the national championship will be played by two teams with losses. Good luck trying to explain how a 1-loss team is better than another 1-loss team. If you can do that, you are a better man than I am. Anyway, LSU, for losing this game, gets a Friday Fryer nomination this week.
