Fred Strickland (Fredrick William Strickland) was born on August 15, 1966 in Buffalo, New York. After going to high school at Lakeland (Wanaque, NJ), Strickland attended Purdue University. Strickland made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1988 was Fred Strickland's best year.
