Fred Moore (Frederick Wallace Moore) was born on December 18, 1939 in Sulligen, Alabama. After going to high school at Central (Florence, AL), Moore attended the University of Memphis and the University of Oklahoma. Moore made his professional debut in the AFL in 1964 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 3 year career.
