Fred Forsberg (Fred Carl Forsberg) was born on July 4, 1944 in Tacoma, Washington. After going to high school at Woodrow Wilson (Tacoma, WA), Forsberg attended the University of Washington. Forsberg made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Forsberg also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Fred Forsberg's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
