Fred Abbott (Harry Frederick Abbott) was born on October 22, 1874 in Versailles, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 25, 1903 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1903, his rookie year, he hit .235 with 1 home run and 25 RBI. Abbott played for the Cleveland Naps and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career.
