Franky Smith (Franky Lee Smith) was born on January 16, 1956 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL), Smith attended Alabama A&M University. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
