Born on October 26, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Frank Wills (Frank Lee Wills) played for the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 9 year career. Wills broke into the bigs on July 31, 1983 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 6.00 ERA in 123 innings pitched in 1985, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Frank Wills's best season was 1990, when he posted a 4.73 ERA and struck out 72 batters.
