Frank Niehaus (Francis W. Niehaus) was born on March 16, 1902 in , IN. After going to high school at West (Akron, OH), Niehaus attended Washington & Jefferson College. Niehaus made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Akron Pros. He played for the Pottsville Maroons and Akron Pros over the course of his 2 year career.
