Frank Nelson (Dewey Frank Nelson) was born on May 28, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After going to high school at Bingham (UT), Nelson attended The Univesity of Utah. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Boston Yanks. He played for the New York Bulldogs and Boston Yanks over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Frank Nelson's best year.
