Frank Martin (Frank Hayes Martin) was born on June 13, 1919 in Calera, Alabama. After going to high school at Columbiana (AL), Martin attended the University of Alabama. Martin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the New York Giants, Brooklyn Tigers and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1943 was Frank Martin's best year.
