Frank Lambert (Franklin Talley Lambert) was born on April 17, 1943 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After going to high school at Hattiesburg (PA), Lambert attended the University of Mississippi. Lambert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1965 was Frank Lambert's best year, as he had a 45.1 yard punt average.
