Frank Kirkleski (Frank William Kirkleski) was born on May 19, 1904 in Nutley, New Jersey. After going to high school at Nutley (NJ), Kirkleski attended Lafayette College. Kirkleski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Pottsville Maroons. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Newark Tornadoes, Orange Tornadoes and Pottsville Maroons over the course of his 4 year career.
