Frank Grube (Franklin Thomas Grube) was born on January 7, 1905 in Easton, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on May 12, 1931 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .219 with 1 home run and 24 RBI. Grube played for the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Frank Grube's best season was 1932, when he hit for a .282 average.
