Frank Gatins (Frank Anthony Gatins) was born on March 6, 1871 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 21, 1898 for the Washington Senators. In 1901, his rookie year, he hit .228 with 1 home run and 21 RBI. Gatins played for the Washington Senators and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 2 year career.
