Frank Culver (Franklin Zham Culver) was born on April 24, 1897 in Toledo, Ohio. After going to high school at V.W. Scott (Toledo, OH), Culver attended Syracuse University. Culver made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played for the Canton Bulldogs, Rochester Jeffersons and Buffalo All-Americans over the course of his 3 year career.
