Frank Bruggy (Frank Leo Bruggy) was born on May 4, 1891 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1921 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1921, his rookie year, he hit .310 with 5 home runs and 28 RBI. Bruggy played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Athletics and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Frank Bruggy's best season was 1921, when he hit for a .310 average.
