Frank Briante (Frank Xavier Briante) was born on March 5, 1905 in White Plains, New York. After going to high school at White Plains (NY), Briante attended New York University. Briante made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Newark Tornadoes and Staten Island Stapletons over the course of his 2 year career.
