Frank Abruzzino (Frank Marion Abruzzino, Jr.) was born on January 22, 1908 in Shinnston, West Virginia. After going to high school at Lincoln (Shinnston, WV), Abruzzino attended Colgate University. Abruzzino made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Cincinnati Reds and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career.
