Former Trojan D-Back Tests Positive for Steroids

Brandon Ting, a former defensive back and special teamer on the University of Southern California football team who left the team last week to pursue med school, reportedly tested positive for steroids in the days leading up to his departure from the team.

The school said Ting and his identical twin, Ryan, also a member on the team, gave up football ton concentrate on preparing for med school and "couldn't balance both," according to Ryan.

The Tings' father is an orthopedic surgeon in the San Francisco area who has operated on a number of pro athletes, including Barry Bonds. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Arthur Ting was among those to testify in the Bonds' purjury investigation.

Auburn, Miami, Oklahoma, and now USC in the continuing trend of college football scandals. The only ones missing are LSU, Texas and Ohio State and we've got the last four national champions and runners-up. Gotta love college football.
