Floyd Dixon (Floyd Eugene Dixon) was born on April 9, 1964 in Beaumont, Texas. After going to high school at Hebert (Beaumont, TX), Dixon attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Dixon made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1987 was Floyd Dixon's best year, as he hauled in 36 receptions, had 600 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
