Ferrell Anderson (Ferrell Jack Anderson) was born on January 9, 1918 in Maple City, Kansas. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1946 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1946, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 2 home runs and 14 RBI. Anderson played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
