Fausto Cruz (Fausto Santiago Cruz) was born on May 1, 1972 in Monte Cristi, Monte Cristi (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on April 10, 1994 for the Oakland Athletics. Cruz played for the Oakland Athletics and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 3 year career.
