Fantasy Woes

The Patriots are 1st place, the Celts are 1st place, the Red Sox are champions that's all great but my real team is suffering, no not the Bruins, the Six City Devils are struggling.  My fantasy is ruined, its worse than a hot brazilian suddenly turning into my 6th grade math teacher. 

Last year, I had problems but I won 8 straight and ran away with the championship this year I'm destined for the consolation bracket and what puzzles me is that I have a great team and I just can't seem to win. Check out this lineup

QB Peyton Manning RB Willie Parker RB/WR Marshawn Lynch WR Andre Johnson WR Wes Welker TE Chris Cooley D/ST Baltimore Ravens K Nate Kaeding

I also have Matt Schaub, Chester Taylor, Anquan Boldin, Rudi Johnson and DJ Hackett on the bench and I'm sitting uncomfortably at 4-7.  You think there isnt chemistry in fantasy football you're nuts, whenever one player has a great game the rest of the team does nothing. Like when Marshawn Lynch had a great game against the Bengals, Willie Parker didnt show up against Baltimore.  Last week Andre Johnson and Chester Taylor have good games and Peyton gets me 4 points.  It's maddening my opponent STARTED Larry Johnson and still beat me.  I'm the 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers, won an unpredictable championship and now I'll be missing the postseason.  *sigh* Let me go check on my fantasy basketball team.....

I have more than one team, and in one league (on NFL.com) I am 5-6, and it's because I drafted Marc Bulger, and Jake delhomme at QB (Bulger is turning it around, now though). And, my ESPN.com league is 9-2, and it looks like i'll could be bringing home the championship if I keep it up.

Injuries have absolutely ruined my season. I walked out of my draft thinking, "Damn, Steven Jackson, Marvin Harrison, Laurence Maroney, Anquan Boldin, and the Packer Defense? These guys don't have a chance." Eleven weeks later, I've won two games.

Dude, I feel your pain -- my team is 4-7, too (two losses came against opponents who had at least one player on a bye, no joke). I made two killer pickups last week, though -- Chester Taylor and the Bucs defense -- 22 points last week and have you seen their schedule for the rest of the season? What sucks is that when my team is good, it's really, really good -- I've outscored all but one person in the league points-wise, but I've had plenty of bad matchups. Also, Steve Smith really messed me up for a few weeks.
