Ernie Bowman (Ernest Ferrell Bowman) was born on July 28, 1935 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on April 12, 1961 for the San Francisco Giants. Bowman played for the San Francisco Giants for his entire 3 year career.
