Eric Sievers (Eric Scott Sievers) was born on November 9, 1957 in Urbana, Illinois. After going to high school at Washington & Lee (Arlington, VA), Sievers attended the University of Maryland. Sievers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Eric Sievers's best year, as he hauled in 41 receptions and caught 6 TD passes.
