Eric Metcalf (Eric Quinn Metcalf) was born on January 23, 1968 in Seattle, Washington. After going to high school at Bishop Dennis J. O'Connell (Arlington, VA), Metcalf attended the University of Texas. Metcalf made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, San Diego Chargers and Carolina Panthers over the course of his 13 year career.
Most people believe that 1995 was Eric Metcalf's best year, as he hauled in 104 receptions, had 1189 receiving yards, caught 8 TD passes and ran back a punt for a touchdown.
