Eric Harris (Eric Wayne Harris) was born on August 11, 1955 in Memphis, Tennessee. After going to high school at Hamilton (Memphis, TN), Harris attended the University of Memphis. Harris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1981 was Eric Harris's best year, as he picked off 7 passes.
