Eric Floyd (Eric Cunningham Floyd) was born on October 28, 1965 in Rome, Georgia. After going to high school at West Rome (Rome, GA), Floyd attended Auburn University. Floyd made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1993 was Eric Floyd's best year.
