Emil Uremovich (Emil P. Uremovich) was born on September 26, 1916 in Hobart, Indiana. Uremovich attended Indiana University. Uremovich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1941 with the Detroit Lions. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Detroit Lions the entire time. Uremovich also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Rockets the entire time.
