Emil Sitko (Emil Martin Sitko) was born on September 7, 1923 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After going to high school at Central (Fort Wayne, IN), Sitko attended the University of Notre Dame. Sitko made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1952 was Emil Sitko's best year.
