Emerson Cole (Emerson Elvin Cole) was born on December 10, 1927 in Swanton, Ohio. After going to high school at Swanton (OH), Cole attended the University of Toledo. Cole made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1951 was Emerson Cole's best year.
