Elmer Slough (Elmer Cumming Slough) was born on July 19, 1903 in Madill, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Ardmore (OK), Slough attended the University of Oklahoma. Slough made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Buffalo Rangers. He played for the Buffalo Rangers for his entire 1 year career.
