Elmer Flick (Elmer Harrison Flick) was born on January 11, 1876 in Bedford, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 26, 1898 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1898, his rookie year, he hit .302 with 8 home runs and 81 RBI. Flick played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Athletics, Cleveland Broncos and Cleveland Naps over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Elmer Flick's best season was 1900, when he stole 35 bases, hit for a .367 average and knocked in 110 runs.
