Elio Chacon (Elio (Rodriguez) Chacon) was born on October 26, 1936 in Caracas, Distrito Federal (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1960 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1961, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 2 home runs and 5 RBI. Chacon played for the Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets over the course of his 3 year career.
