Joe Mulligan (Edward Joseph Mulligan) was born on August 27, 1894 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 23, 1915 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1916, his rookie year, he hit .153 with 0 home runs and 9 RBI. Mulligan played for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 5 year career.
