Eddie Michaels (Edward J. born Mikolajewski) was born on June 11, 1914 in Wilmington, Delaware. Michaels attended Villanova University. Michaels made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia/Pittsburgh, Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears over the course of his 6 year career.
