Eddie Malone (Edward Russell Malone) was born on June 16, 1920 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on July 17, 1949 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .271 with 1 home run and 16 RBI. Malone played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 2 year career.
