Ed Olivares (Edward (Balzac) Olivares) was born on November 5, 1938 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1960 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Olivares played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
