Ed Mieszkowski (Edward Thomas Mieszkowski) was born on October 14, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Tilden (Chicago, IL), Mieszkowski attended the University of Notre Dame. Mieszkowski made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 2 year career.
