Ed Mcevoy (Edward Clarence McEvoy) was born on November 6, 1903 in Mobile, Alabama. After going to high school at Spring Hill (Mobile, AL), Mcevoy attended Spring Hill College. Mcevoy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Hartford Blues. He played for the Hartford Blues for his entire 1 year career.
