Ed Hallinan (Edward S. Hallinan) was born on August 23, 1888 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on May 13, 1911 for the St. Louis Browns. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .207 with 0 home runs and 14 RBI. Hallinan played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 2 year career.
