Ed Crosby (Edward Carlton Crosby) was born on May 26, 1949 in Long Beach, California. He made his Major League debut on July 12, 1970 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1972, his rookie year, he hit .217 with 0 home runs and 19 RBI. Crosby played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 6 year career.
