Ed Bell (Edward Bell) was born on September 20, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Austin (Chicago, IL), Bell attended Indiana University. Bell made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Miami Seahawks. He played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Miami Seahawks the entire time. Bell also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers the entire time.
