Ed Balatti (Edward T. Balatti) was born on April 8, 1924 in Los Banos, California. After going to high school at Technical (Oakland, CA), Balatti attended none. Balatti made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Ed Balatti's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown.
